Yup. More evidence of the negative effects of technology.
When my arm was broken and I literally couldnāt use it at all, it was a struggle every day to carry my shit to the classroom and open the door with all the shit in my good arm. It sometimes took me literally five minutes to accomplish the task. My students were all engrossed in their phones and only rarely, and I mean rarely, did one offer to help me open the door, or even hold it once I got it opened.
And, lest you think I am bitching too much about my students, no, for the most part, I like and care about them all and work my ass off to help them. And they actually like me. But they ā and their technology ā make life a damn bitch, too.
Yeah letās celebrate teachers destroying other peopleās personal property like the only way to deal with unwanted technology use is to destroy shit like a tantrumming child.

Not to mention that most of those videos were staged. Itās a fucking joke video, but still a reflection of how most teachers feel about the little darlings who are surgically attached to their phones.
Smart teachers in these parts manage and use technology a lot better than throwing tantrums and smashing shit.
Besides, given their shit wages, they canāt afford to replace an iPhone.
The best teacher I ever knew threw a guy bigger then him down 2 flights of steps and told next time he would kill him cause he killed a lot of people in the war and 1 more donāt matter
