Speaking of hiking boots…

For lowlands I like the Altama OTB ($75). They shed water quickly and can be used with flippers… very little break in required.

For regular hiking I wear whatever combat boots I got broken in. Right now I’m wearing the Nike SFB Gen 2 ($170). Great traction, ankle control and they lace up nicely. They’re not too hot or cold and shed water decently.

Both boots can be had in multiple colors… I just have both in Coyote due to uniform regulations.

I never cud get a pair of boots that was comfortable

I prefer going barefoot, it costs less.

They could end this in a minute( the OP) if they weren’t making so much money off the tourists.
