I wonder how many millions have been killed by the USA around the world and here at home?

Good question.

Why is it there?

Some dude bought it after the fall of the USSR when Russia was erasing history. Imho i believe it’s display is an homage to the sculptur and is on display ironically.

I was going to say…if it’s in Seattle, chances are there’s something ironic about it.

Yeah, it’s in Fremont which is a neighborhood of artsy types and old hippies. Even so, there’s been some controversy and while the statue’s been generally accepted…people keep painting its left hand red.

“Take down the sculptures” the libs say
“But not this one…” The libs say.

I’m all for tearing down shameful sculptures but as we know, liberals aren’t known for consistency.

Was Lenin a traitor to the USA?

Nah, it’s made of bronze.

(rimshot)

Seriously, it’s privately owned, displayed on private property, and the owner is trying to sell it.

Not seeing anything to be het up about.

Heritage, not hate.

But if your heritage is hateful…

Like owning slaves hateful?

Boro, if you really want to point out Lib inconsistancy…
