Back from Catching Trout

When I say catching trout, I mean that in the singular, although if I had caught more than one I would also have used the same phrase. Kind of a paradox.

Enyway - I would have stayed up there at the cabin, but I was worried about the package being snatched by the junkies, and of course do not want to miss tomorrow’s episode of Sunday Morning with Six.

…for those wondering - it was a very nice wild Brook Trout.

May I suggest A Henry’s Private Reserve with yer Brook Trout Almondine?

You kept it alive and put it in your giant aquarium when you got home?

No - I did my best to release it unharmed since our host didn’t want any fish and had left us a nice cut of venison.

Ooooohhhh. So you didn’t take that pic, and it’s not the trout you caught.

Of course not. Do you think I would risk injury to the fish by keeping it out of the water unnecessarily? That would be criminal, Lotus.

Catching it in the first place posed no risk to it? What about the psychological toll?

They barely have brains at all. I mean, pure hind brain stuff. I doubt it was even thankful that I set it free.

Except they been around for 400 million years and will be around after the brained humans are gone
