I guess I misunderstood what the more recent meaning of the term hipster is, I had assumed that it was people who are today affecting mannerisms and non mainstream {countercultural?)throwback fashions, drinking PBR in “Dive Bars” wearing used clothing often with manufacture logos, like delivery guy shirts etc with maybe some forced “edgy” ideation thrown in, like the beats of the 40’s and 50’s, but more ironically, who morphed into the “hippies” of the 60’s and 70’s
