The Duck was cracking my wife and I up when everyone made their predictions on Gameday! Two classic mascots for sure!

Sparty wearing white uniforms, and these new white pants and what we’re told are the classic green helmets

Is the game on ESPN or some other major network?

Here’s it on the Local Fox Affiliate, if it isn’t on the tube in your area, let me know, I’ve got a link to a place you can stream it.

ETA, I don’t think ESPN is showing the game, Game Day is just broadcasting from the campus today.

Looks like Phil gave the same Unis to both Teams

Thanks. It’s on FOX here too. I see it just started.

Back and forth and up and down. MSU is giving up FAR too many big pass plays to be happy about. There are a couple stats in MSU’s favor though:

MSU records 303 yards compared to Oregon’s 202 in 1st half. Even more impressive for MSU is its 14-to-5 1st downs advantage. If there is a silver lining in those two ungodly long passes, that was 100 of the 200 yards they have. 100 on the other 28 plays. Just keep trying to run the ball and plug the leaks.

Heckuva game, you guys owned the 2nd quarter, I thought after 24 points and sacking Mariota twice, I thought we might have been done.

One thing I noticed and liked, maybe because it was a non conference game was the Sportsman like play, the opponents patting each other after plays, helping each other up etc.

Hats off to the Ducks, they made the better adjustments after halftime which is exactly what MSU does. I think those WR pick/rub plays worked well to throw off the MSU coverages 3 or 4 times. A couple times the younger of out two corners blew a coverage by not taking deep man and reading zone. But the Ducks were better and I’m thinking they, like MSU had to win this game and win their conference and go undefeated to make the title game.

I told my wife at kickoff that it’d be nice to win every game but if given my choice of beating Oregon but losing a game in the B1G or losing the B1G I’d take a loss today. Hang a banner and win the B1G. After watching Michigan gack against ND, Nebraska struggle mightily against McNeese St., Ohio St. now losing late in the 4th qtr I still think MSU is the class of the conference and hopefully can channel this beating into positive energy and still get a nice bowl game on Jan 1.

At least they weren’t the Central Michigan punter who tried to go high and make a tackle against Purdue today:
