History's most sadistic serial killer?

Yeah, and a beginner could buy his Rockman and your guitar would sound JUST like Boston.

I heard an interview with Sholz and he said the first album was completely recorded and mixed in his basement.

Yeah, I know they put that ABSOLUTELY NO SYNTHESIZERS thing on their first three LP’S. Not sure about the others because I didn’t buy them.

lol fucking beatniks…

The no synthesizer deal was Queen. I think almost everything Boston did was run through some sort of Synth. (One reason my Music guru didn’t like them)

Yeah, and they sent the demo tape they made to a record company and he said that’s no demo tape, that’s your first album.

So I was reading up on Boston. Turns out Sholz is a bigger perfectionist than Fagan and Becker. They only spent months in the studio remixing. Sholz would spend years remixing shit. The average time between Boston studio releases was about 6 years. He also designed and built all his own pedals, amps and pickups. What a fukking whacko.

Anyway, Boston is now my favorite band of all time… overtaking the Eagles and Rage against the Machine… well… until I hear “More than a Feeling” again on the radio. I’m sure I’ll go back to hating them when that happens.

I’d heard and read that tom was a wiz with electronics, but Bostons (tom’s) music never did much for me. and I agree ‘More than a feeling’ is almost enough to incite savage violence.

Yeah, but when I’m tired and thinking cold, I turn on some music, forget the day… and dream of a girl I used to know, I close my eyes and she slips away.
