I had a bike very similar to that one, it was called a “Telegraph” bike, with a spring (sprung?) front fork, it was indestructible. It was my paper route bike and stump jumper.
When that band that held the brake thingy up in the back broke my Father fabricated one out of tin can - it lasted forever - no buying parts in those days
