She sent one of her kids on an adult errand to me.
I asked her, nicely, not to send kids on adult matters to me.
She says “I hide nothing from my children” quite defensively.“but, okay”.
I said “I understand you may think differently than I do, but I believe childhood is shortlived. I prefer not to deal with children when it comes to adult matters.”
She’s been rather distant. Well, no matter…I won’t participate in treating a 7 year old like he/she should understand the adult world around them fully.
