One, you shoulda played Nf6 on the first or second move against d4.
Two, you lost two tempos with queen sorties that didn’t really affect him.
But when you got to the point where he could centralize his queen at d5 while simultaneously hitting on 3 pieces you had hanging, yer ass was toast.
Except when he took yer knight on a2 you had a swindle with …Rc1# which evidently you both missed.
