NY cops get away with rape of teen in their custody

I think there’s an earlier thread about this, from when the case broke. This is the summary and the outcome.

Oh, and a h/t to Jayzonely who posted this on FB recently, with the following editorial screed.

How would you feel about this case if this was your sister? – your daughter? – or, if this was you? Let’s be clear, this teenage girl was arrested for simple marijuana possession, nothing more. Her two male co-passengers were quickly let go by the arresting officers without any charges being filed, just to get them out of the way, and keep them quiet. After the rape, she was also let go without any charges. It’s not clear, but seems very likely that the marijuana was not even hers. Rather, it was probably found in the vehicle that got stopped, and so, it very likely belonged to one of her two male co-passengers.

Judges like Danny Chun need to go, they have no place in a fair criminal justice system. We need police officers who are less corrupt and less criminal than the people they arrest, rape, rob, exploit, and lock away, in a prison system that’s being paid for by taxpayers-- a prison system which is being rapidly privatized by corrupt politicians and the corporate private prison owners who bribe them with obscene amounts of money-- amounts of money which would have been illegal before the Citizens United case made the immoral practice of big-money political bribery legal.
