Today it was the Orchard Oriole which is uncommon in my area,
As clear a sign as I have ever seen, Baltimore wins the series this year. And now that sports betting is legal, I am going to place a sizable bet.

Yeah - I was really messing with you for sure. 
Don’t do it, man… We don’t see many orioles here for some reason, but I recall in 1995 there was one that showed up, a Baltimore, and camped out in a tree next to my screened-in smoking porch. We kinda got to be pals in a distant way. And I used your logic to squander maybe a C-note on the Orioles that season, when I coulda bought a nice hat instead.

…and I did see another yellow Male Orchard Oriole today. It is an immature male. Very similar pattern but not the deep muted red/orange of the adult.
