Oak asked me to pass this along, since most everybody here knew him.
My opinion of his statements about himself notwithstanding, I am sad to see him go and will admit that I did learn quite a few things from him. He certainly had an effect, and a rampant intelligence to be able to shift gears the way he did.
Say hi to az_nikon for us if you see him…
Brent the Bartender from Weber’s?
RiP…sad he wasn’t able to find meaning in his life.
OMG - Sorry to hear about the Big Dog
I only knew Big Dog for a short time but I enjoyed reading him while he was here and am saddened to hear of his passing.
For those who knew him better, I’m sorry for your loss. I know the mark fellow internet mates can leave on people and hope you can find peace in his peace.
Thanks for sharing, Flannel. A sad day.
Oh that was The Big Dog? Fare thee well old chap.
Thanks for posting Flannel.
At least poor Martha can perhaps feel a bit more at ease now.
That’s not the same Brent of TRF, is it?
So i can’t read what Flannel posted, anyone else?
Right click and open image in new tab. It will make it bigger for ya.
That’s not Brent from TRF
It’s not Brent Martin, is it?
Ctrl + zooms any screen also
True. That also works.
I also feel bad for him that his view on life was so nihilistic. I don’t believe that death is nothingness, either. Dollars to donuts, right now he is reviewing his life, saying, “WOW. I completely missed the meaning of all of that. Time for another go-around.” RIP, Dawg.
R.I.P. Dog… does this mean I can un-ban him now?
I don’t think it’s the same Brent from Facebook’s group
Well yeah - the Dog would have raffed at that
