There’s an Indian School in Salem, my hometown and the local Public TV station just did a lengthy report on it, not so good, us white eyes, weren’t very kind to our indigenous peoples.The only thing I really remember about it, was it used to be a thing for young males of the community to cruise the road into town out by the school and pick up young Indian maidens for “companionship” on the weekends.
