There’s a woman I see all the time. She was very rude to me the first few times because she was prejudiced against pit bulls. She worked very hard to keep her dog away from mine. I kept telling her he was friendly, but it took multiple encounters for her to believe it. Eventually, she became friendly, and her dog – some sort of herder who was always very excited to see my dog – was never once threatened by mine.
Today I saw her with a different dog. She said she had to get rid of her herder because it viciously attacked another dog and the dog’s owner.
Kind of ironic, n’est ce pas?
