US and France aren’t the same.
France isn’t a wealthy country. I looked up income for the average French citizen, it’s about $22k a year.
That’s AVERAGE. Our middle class, or average income, is about $50k.
So what they can’t afford and we can’t afford is different, child.
A tax here and a tax there that does the same thing- but approving of one and not the other is idiocy and hypocrisy at it’s finest.
