He died a month ago but it wasn’t made public until yesterday. He went to school in Hanford, CA where I was born and raised (on the playground is where we spent most of our days, his days being 20 years before mine)

I think my first memory of him was in the movie “Baby Blue Marine”
For me it was World’s Greatest Athlete, I was 8 and it was AWESOME (at the time, in retrospect who knows I haven’t revisited it and I don’t intend to spoil the memory so shut up!)
Nah, I screwed up, it was “The Tribe” where Jan also played a Marine Boot.
I remember that one.
