The Norwegians have a capitalist economy. It’s easy to have very generous benefits in a country with oil and a lot fewer citizens.

I’m fine with clean technology in an otherwise simple household. I don’t see it as incompatible. Excess and forcing a lifestyle on others at their expense and for profit - that I have a problem with.
PS: Socialism does not exclude capitalism - basically we also live in a socialist society, ours simply isn’t as well honed as the Scandinavians.
