Social security is welfare, very few pay in what they draw out.
I came across an obituary today about the death of a fifty nine year old man. He most likely paid Social Security taxes for the last 50 years but collected not a penny in return.
Sure, it is how it works. If married, his widow may draw and if he has kids that are minors, so will they. And that’s how those things shake out.
If he is not married and he has no kids he gets nothing.
The point is, he is coerced into participating in this program.
This is just another form of slavery.
Countless folks would have starved without it and that’s what really fucking irks you.
