There was a dog in the 1920’s that got lost on the East coast - the family moved to Oregon I think - the fucking dog trailed them to Oregon and found them - It’s a story that has facts to back it up
When I was a kid a friend of my brother’s dog went all the way across town, about 10 miles and showed up at our door. I think it was a black lab.
My mom had a dog that did that. it was a Ridgeback.
